In the company, everything revolves around the Mixed Silphie (Silphium perfoliatum), which has been marketed throughout Germany under the product name Donau Silphie (Donube Silphie) in a special cultivation package since 2015. A total of around 10,000 hectares have already been sown in this way. Since May 2020, there has also been a pilot plant for Silphium perfoliatum fiber production in Hahnennest. The aim is to offer an economical post-EEG solution for biogas plants. The fiber obtained in Hahnennest is subsequently processed in a paper mill. This creates sustainable paper and packaging solutions with a regionally produced raw material. Further fiber extraction sites are to be built in the next few years.

    To address global challenges such as climate change and food shortages, the biotechnology company SACCHA developed a protein without animal origin. For this purpose, the brewer's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), a by-product of beer production, is used to create a nutritionally valuable product. Brewer’s yeast protein is like egg protein, without the hen.
